The Women’s March movement occurred on Saturday to send a bold message to the new presidential administration and the rest of the world that women’s rights are human rights. Seeing the marches around the world in action made me proud as a woman. I saw all over social media of people marching, journalists reporting and friends showing their support of this wonderful movement.
Despite everyone’s political views, you have to agree it was a great day for women. And I always can’t wait to see what’s next on our long road to equality. Witness history in the making with these incredible posters made by the marchers.
The year’s first snowfall always makes everyone love winter so much. We forget about how cold it is. We don’t care that it turns into slush. And we’re not thinking how it’s going to get in the way on our daily commute. As soon as there’s a clean white blanket of snow on the ground, all we can think of is SNOW DAY.
When winter arrives in New York City, it’s a time to take advantage of the tourists staying far away from the cold. We know how this winter weather makes it very tempting to hibernate our weekends away, but now’s the time to take advantage of being a tourist bug! Go out to the city and try to knock down this NYC bucket list.
